To remove fog, frost, or light ice from the rear window glass and the door mirrors, if so equipped, start the engine and push the defogger switch. Indicator light A will illuminate to show that the system is operating. Push the switch again to turn the defogger off manually.

The electric rear window and door mirror defogger will turn off automatically after approximately 20 minutes.

CAUTION

  • When cleaning the inside surface of the rear window, take care not to scratch or damage the electrical elements of the rear window defogger.
