Mitsubishi Outlander: Rear window wiper and washer switch (Hatchback)
The rear window wiper and washer switch can be operated with the ignition switch
at the “ON” or “ACC” position.
Rear window wiper
Turn the knob, and the rear window wiper will operate.

Type 1
- To operate the wiper
- Off

Type 2
- To operate the wiper
- Intermittent operation at interval
of approximately 10 seconds
- Off

The washer fluid will be sprayed onto the rear window while the button is being

The manual mode is also available in case the automatic mode shows the incorrect
time when the adjacent local RDS stations are located in a different time zone.

► When towing the vehicle with only the front wheels or only the rear wheels
raised off the ground, do not place the ignition switch in the “ON” position. Placing
the ignition switch in the “ON” position could cause the ASC to operate, resulting
in an accident.
