Mitsubishi Outlander: Safety mechanism
If a hand or head is trapped in a closing window, the window glass will lower
automatically.
Please ensure that nobody puts their head or hand out the window when closing.
The lowered window will become operational after a few seconds.
CAUTION
The safety mechanism is cancelled just before the window is fully closed.
This allows the window to close completely. Therefore be especially careful not
to trap a finger by the window.
NOTE
Repeated operation with the engine stopped will run down the battery. Operate
the window switches while the engine is running.

To open
Press the switch (1) to open the sunroof. The sunroof stops once before the sunroof
is fully opened. R
If a hand or head is trapped in the closing sunroof, it will re-open automatically.
Nonetheless, make sure that nobody puts their head or hand out of the sunroof
when opening or closing.

Slide the sunshade (5) manually to open and close it.
NOTE
The sunshade will operate together with the sunroof only when the sunroof
is opened.

2. To store the flat tyre or spare wheel, fit the installation clamp (A) by turning
it clockwise.
NOTE
• On vehicles with a T155/90D16 or T125/90D16 size spare wheel, the clamp cannot
be used for a normal size tyre.
3. Have your damaged tyre repaired
Installation:
1. Fasten the seat belt to secure the child restraint system. Make sure you hear
a “click” when you insert the latch plate in the buckle.
2. Remove all slack by using the locking clip.
3. Push and pull the child restraint in all directions to be sure it is secure.
