Mitsubishi Outlander: Safety mechanism

If a hand or head is trapped in a closing window, the window glass will lower automatically.

Please ensure that nobody puts their head or hand out the window when closing. The lowered window will become operational after a few seconds.

CAUTION

The safety mechanism is cancelled just before the window is fully closed. This allows the window to close completely. Therefore be especially careful not to trap a finger by the window.

NOTE

Repeated operation with the engine stopped will run down the battery. Operate the window switches while the engine is running.
