Mitsubishi Outlander: To lock or unlock with the key

► On vehicles equipped with the central door lock switch, when locking or unlocking Note

► On vehicles equipped with the central door lock switch, when locking or unlocking with the key, only the driver’s door will be locked or unlocked.

To lock or unlock all doors and the rear hatch, use the central door lock switch, the keyless entry system or the keyless operation function.

► If the vehicle is equipped with the keyless operation system, the door can be locked or unlocked with the emergency key. Refer to “Emergency key”.

 Side airbag system

The side airbags (A) are contained in the driver and front passenger seatbacks. The side airbag is designed to inflate only on the side of the vehicle that is impacted, even with no passenger in the front seat. The label shown here is attached to the seatbacks with a side airbag.

 Anti-theft lock

The anti-theft lock is located on the top of the rear seatback. The cylinder is operated with the master key (A). When the lock is in the “LOCK” position, the seatback cannot be folded down by using the seatback release button. This feature is useful to help prevent theft when the vehicl
