Mitsubishi Outlander: DPF warning display

The DPF warning display illuminates in the event of an abnormality in the DPF
system.

Steady illumination of the DPF warning display shows that the DPF has not been
able to burn away all of the trapped PM and that, as a result, an excessive amount
of PM has accumulated inside it. T
If an abnormal condition occurs in the DPF system, the DPF warning display and
check engine warning lamp illuminate. Have the system inspected at a MITSUBISHI
MOTORS Authorized Service Point.

Follow the procedure below to set the system to the system armed mode.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the “LOCK” position.
If you started the engine with the key, remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. Exit the vehicle and close all of the doors, rear hatch and bonnet.
3. Press the LOCK
When replacing the bulb, put the rear room lamp switch into the “OFF” position.
1. Insert a straight blade (or minus) screwdriver with a cloth over its tip into
the notch of the lamp assembly and pry gently to remove the lens.
