1. Visually inspect the drive belt for abnormal wear, cracks, cuts, fraying, or other visible deterioration. If the belt is damaged or in poor condition, have it replaced. It is recommended that you visit an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer for this service.
2. Have the drive belt condition inspected regularly as part of normal Mitsubishi Outlander maintenance.
