Mitsubishi Outlander instrument panel vents, displays, climate controls, switches and storage locations

The Mitsubishi Outlander instrument panel brings together the main displays, ventilation outlets, climate controls, multimedia equipment and frequently used switches. The numbered references below identify each component and its general function within the front passenger compartment.

  1. Side ventilator for directing airflow toward the driver or front passenger.
  2. Steering wheel paddle shifter for selecting simulated transmission ranges when the function is available.
  3. Meters, gauges and clock used to display driving and vehicle-status information.
  4. Head-Up Display [HUD], where equipped, for presenting selected information within the driver's forward field of view.
  5. Center ventilator for distributing conditioned air through the middle of the instrument panel.
  6. Audio system* or navigation system*:
    • Rearview camera display for viewing the area behind the Mitsubishi Outlander.
    • Multi Around Monitor for displaying available views around the vehicle.
    • Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System for supported phone functions.*
  7. Fuse box cover providing access to the applicable interior electrical fuses.
  8. Hood release handle used to unlock the hood from inside the vehicle.
