The following warning and indicator lights, when equipped, should illuminate briefly during the Mitsubishi Outlander startup check and then turn off after the monitored systems complete their self-diagnostic sequence:

If a specified light does not illuminate, remains on when it should turn off, or behaves differently from the sequence described above, the cause may be a failed indicator bulb, a display fault or a malfunction in the related vehicle system.
Have the affected warning or indicator system inspected promptly. Mitsubishi Motors recommends taking the Mitsubishi Outlander to an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer for diagnosis and service.
