Operating the air conditioning system
Heating
Set the mode selection dial to the
position and set the air selection switch (A) to the outside position.
Turn the temperature control dial clockwise or anticlockwise to the desired temper
Automatic air conditioning
The air conditioning can only be used while the engine is running.

Emergency starting
If the engine cannot be started because the battery is weak or dead, the battery
from another vehicle can be used with jumper cables to start the engine.
WARNING
To start the engine by use of jumper cables from another vehicle, perform
the correct procedures according to the instruction manual
Ignition switch
To prevent vehicle theft, only the emergency key with the preregistered keyless
operation key inserted can start the engine. (Electronic immobilizer function) Also
refer to “Starting and driving: Starting the engine” on pages 4-15, 4-16.
