WARNING
- Prolonged or repeated contact with used engine oil can cause serious skin disorders, including dermatitis and cancer.
- Avoid skin contact with used engine oil whenever possible. If contact occurs, wash the affected area thoroughly as soon as possible.
- Keep used engine oil securely stored and out of the reach of children.
Protect the environment
Never dispose of used engine oil or oil filters in drains, waterways, or on the ground. Such disposal can cause serious environmental contamination and may be prohibited by law. Take used oil and used filters to an authorized collection or recycling facility, such as an approved civic amenity site, service center, or garage that accepts automotive waste. If you are uncertain about the correct disposal method in your area, contact the appropriate local authority for guidance.
Do not carry fuel-filled containers or spray cans inside your vehicle
WARNING
Do not leave fuel-filled containers, aerosol cans, or similar pressurized items inside the Mitsubishi Outlander. Heat inside the vehicle can increase pressure within these containers, potentially causing them to rupture or allowing vapor to ignite or explode.
Tilt/telescopic steering
WARNING
- Never adjust the steering wheel while driving. Attempting to change its position while the Mitsubishi Outlander is moving can interfere with steering control and may result in an accident.
Tilt or telescopic operation

Pull lock lever 1 downward to release the steering column. Adjust the steering wheel upward, downward, forward, or rearward until it reaches a comfortable driving position. After adjustment, push the lock lever firmly upward to secure the steering wheel in place. Make sure the steering wheel is locked before driving.
