The clock 1 and outside air temperature 2 are shown in the upper section of the Mitsubishi Outlander multi-information display, allowing the driver to view the current time and ambient temperature at a glance.
Outside air temperature (ºF or ºC)
The outside air temperature can be displayed in either ºF or ºC. The indicated temperature range is −40 to 140ºF (−40 to 60ºC).
The outside air temperature display also includes a low-temperature warning function. If the ambient temperature falls below 37ºF (3ºC), warning indicator 3 is displayed when the vehicle is equipped with this feature.
The outside temperature sensor is positioned in front of the radiator. Because of its location, the indicated temperature can be influenced by heat from the road surface or engine, wind direction, vehicle movement, and other driving conditions. As a result, the temperature shown in the Mitsubishi Outlander multi-information display may differ from the actual outside temperature or from temperatures shown on roadside signs, billboards, and other external displays.
